About Us

Wir gehören zu den Bio-Weinbaupionieren der Pfalz. Seit unserer Gründung im Jahre 1987 widmen wir uns der Herstellung von hochwertigen Weinen nach streng ökologischen Richtlinien. Herausragende Qualität, die man schmecken kann, ergibt sich dabei aus dem Zusammenspiel vieler Faktoren. Für uns im Mittelpunkt stehen gesunde Böden, die Biodiversität unserer Weinberge, der minimalistische Weinausbau sowie das Engagement unseres Teams. In den letzten drei Jahrzehnten haben wir unser Pfälzer Weingut von ursprünglich 2,5 Hektar auf aktuell 32 Hektar ausgebaut und uns darüber hinaus 1998 mit unserer „Bodegas Palmera“ in Spanien einen Jugendtraum erfüllt.

Since 1987, we work according to the guidelines of Bioland farming Association. Since 2010, we let the elements of the biodynamic cultivation in our work.

Neben handwerklichem Können sind beim Weinausbau auch Geduld und Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt. So sind wir seit Jahren bestrebt die viel beschworene Spontangärung für uns zu perfektionieren. Der Verzicht auf Reinzuchthefen ist dabei die konsequente Fortführung unserer ökologischen Arbeitsweise im Weinberg. 2020 konnten wir fast alle unsere Weine spontan vergären. Die Individualität und der unverwechselbare Charakter unserer Weine basiert auf diesem puristischen, minimalistischen Ansatz.
